Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. to relocate Sensor Business Unit

Allegro MicroSystems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of semiconductors, has reached agreement with Brady Sullivan Properties to lease an existing 108,500 square foot facility, built on 26 acres, and adjacent to the recently expanded Municipal Airport at Manchester, New Hampshire, USA.
The new location will accommodate Allegro's Sensor Business Unit, which will relocate from Concord, New Hampshire. Products built by this business unit are sold to all major automotive and cellular phone manufacturers worldwide.
The Sensor Business Unit currently has a staff of 125 technical and manufacturing associates. All the jobs located in Concord will move to the Manchester facility. The new location in Manchester will provide five times the space of the existing facility, thus supporting significant expansion of the technical staff.
'The selection of Manchester reinforces our commitment to New Hampshire', stated Dennis Fitzgerald, President and Chief Operating Officer of Allegro MicroSystems: 'Manchester is a vibrant city with a diverse business community, and we believe this location will aid recruiting of top technical talent for our Sensor Business.'
The new facility at 955 Perimeter Road is in a prime location adjacent to major highways and the planned airport access road, providing easy access for employees and visitors. Originally owned and occupied by Lockheed Martin, the building was sold in 1999 by Cushman & Wakefield to Brady Sullivan Properties. The building's natural, lakeside campus setting in proximity to a variety of amenities including numerous retail establishments, restaurants and hotels, as well as the airport, makes this location an exceptional climate for Allegro's Sensor Business to grow and prosper.
Factors contributing to the selection of Manchester include the availability of the Perimeter Road facility, the campus-like setting, the transportation infrastructure, a highly educated workforce and future expansion potential.
The move to Manchester will reinforce Allegro's leadership position in a marketplace that demands innovation, a high level of quality, and customer support.
'The Sensor Business Unit of Allegro MicroSystems, Inc. has experienced phenomenal growth during the last several years. We are excited to be moving to Manchester as this city shares our high technology vision', stated Ravi Vig, Vice President of the Sensor Business Unit.
Arthur Sullivan of Brady Sullivan Properties commented:
'Brady Sullivan is pleased to have secured this important tenancy for its re- development of 955 Perimeter Road. Allegro ran a very competitive building selection process. Our building's campus setting, area amenities and aggressive lease rates won the day. We are thrilled about this new relationship, and offer a special thanks to Cushman & Wakefield for the role they played in making this deal happen.'
Allegro plans to move into the Manchester facility during the fourth quarter of this year. Once successfully relocated, Allegro will sell their existing building in Concord.
